Training Development Specialist

In this position, you will:

Project Support

  • Support management with training and development staff and clients

  • Assess employees’ and client needs for training

  • Align training with the organization’s goals

  • Execute on, and work within, training budgets and programs

  • Teach training methods and skills to instructors and supervisors

  • Assist the evaluation of training program effectiveness – recommend improvements and update


Process and Team Support

  • As training and development specialist

    • Time will be spent training clients in the field

    • Time will be spent training clients online

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to accomplish training needs

Key Result Areas and Performance Indicators (KRA’s & KPI’s)


  • High-level quality of work

  • Up-to-date processes and knowledgebase

  • Regular reporting provided to clients – external and internal

  • Initiatives, projects, and transitions delivered to expectations

  • Excellent new customer experience

Do you have the right ingredients?

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of any bachelor’s degree course

  • At least 2 years’ experience training or implementing clients – or equivalent experience

  • Experience in the creation and/or design of end-to-end processes or training programs

  • Experience in dealing with hospitality companies is a plus, but not required

  • Experience in directing software training is a must


System and Application Knowledge

  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Experience with using project management tools and communications tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom)


Communication Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must

  • Proficiency with the English language a must.
