Database Administrator

Your Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to play a critical role in further scaling and developing our restaurant platform which has already processed over 6.7 billion pesos in sales to date.

 

  • Do performance tuning and query optimization of existing applications and databases.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable and efficient database systems.

  • Design, monitor and maintain data replication between the primary and secondary databases.

  • Monitor server availability, scheduled jobs, clustering, replication and failover.

  • Perform Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tasks including dimensional data modeling, reporting, data migration and integration.

  • Lead database administration – database installation, configuration, maintenance, synchronization and performance tuning e.g. Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL (SQL profiler proficient).

What You Offer the Team:

  • Has experience in managing and maintaining data integrity/security, backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Minimum requirements of at least 2 years’ experience in administering databases such as MySQL, DBF, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB)

  • Has significant experience the past two years in a database administrator role in a previous experience, monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing database architectures and structure.

  • In-depth knowledge on using ODBC tools in a Windows environment

  • Must be a proactive and a strong team player

  • Adept at Able to work structured and independentlyqueries, report writing and presenting findings
